About the job

East and Central Sutherland Citizens Advice Bureau is currently recruiting for an experienced or trainee money and debt adviser for the role of Money Advice Officer to provide specialist level debt and money advice, assistance and negotiation to clients across East and Central Sutherland.

Successful candidates will have a proven knowledge and understanding of money and debt advice and the welfare benefits system as well as strong listening and questioning skills, excellent organisational skills and good numerical and IT skills or be willing and able to undertake full training to reach this competence level.

The successful candidate will be required to provide home visits/outreach appointments as necessary as well as travel to meetings, events and training courses in Inverness, Glasgow and Edinburgh as required. The ability to travel within East and Central Sutherland is essential.
