About the job

The Consumer Futures Unit of Citizens Advice Scotland (CAS) is responsible for fulfilling consumer advocacy duties in the regulated industries of energy, post and water. 

Based in Edinburgh, CAS is the umbrella organisation providing support to our 61 Citizens Advice Bureaux (CAB) across Scotland. Together with the Citizen Advice consumer service and the Extra Help Unit they form Scotland’s largest independent advice network.

We are currently recruiting for the post of Post Policy Officer.  Policy officers play a vital and active role, initiating research projects, writing a wide range of policy papers and engaging with external industry, political and government stakeholders.

The successful candidate will play an important part in our work to improve outcomes for consumers.

We offer excellent terms and conditions of employment including 30 days annual leave and 10 public holidays, flexitime and a pension scheme.
