About the job

Skye & Lochalsh Citizens Advice Bureau offer challenging opportunities for a part-time Money Matters Caseworker to join our highly successful team. A considerable knowledge of benefits, money advice and associated legislation is essential, as is excellent communication, training and interpersonal skills. The job will entail provision of assistance to RSL tenants experiencing financial difficulties, provision of both benefit and debt advice, including proactive preparation changes to welfare benefit payments and to assist beneficiaries to claim appropriate benefits.

The role will encompass providing advice, advocacy and representation to our clients and supporting key professionals.  The post will be based in the CAB, although the service will be delivered in various locations throughout Skye & Lochalsh. Current driving licence and access to a vehicle is desirable.  The funding for this post is provided by the Big Lottery. The post is subject to the disclosure of criminal history information.
