We are currently recruiting for a Macmillan Benefits Adviser for an exciting partnership with Macmillan Cancer Support
A considerable working knowledge of benefits advice and associated legislation is essential, as is excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
The post will be based in the Citizens Advice Bureau, although the service will be delivered by home visit and at various locations throughout East Dunbartonshire to assist people affected by cancer within the local authority area.
Current driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential.
The funding is provided by Macmillan Cancer Support working in partnership with East Dunbartonshire Council and East Dunbartonshire Citizens Advice Bureau.
The posts are subject to membership of the Protecting Vulnerable Adults Scheme.
