About the job

To deliver Financial Literacies / Education / Capacity building / Debt resolution / Money Advice Service advice to those engaged in the Financial Recovery program the wider community in Stirling District working within the aims, principles and policies of the Citizens Advice Service; to assist those engaged in the programme to access key financial products ( bank account, savings and loans )  and cheaper services ( utilities, house insurance, insurance etc )  and to assist in the delivery of an income maximisation service / debt resolution service to those engaged in the Financial Recovery program.

The Project aims to raise awareness of the need for financial literacy in an increasingly complex society, targeting disadvantaged communities and raising awareness of benefit entitlements ensuring that those engaging with the project have their income maximised and their understanding of credit and money management issues increased. In addition to offer basic debt advice and a signposting service to debt resolution providers.

Fixed term contract to 31/3/2017.
