About the job

The Management Board of Renfrewshire Citizens Advice Bureau is augmenting its team of company directors (who are also charity trustees).  We are very keen to hear from you if you are an enthusiastic supporter of the CAB aims and principals and have an understanding of the broad spectrum of advice our Bureau provides to all in the region. This is especially so if you have experience within the Third Sector of some of the following:

  • nurturing an integrated team of skilled volunteers and paid staff
  • practical development of cost-effective service delivery techniques
  • conversant in charity law and governance
  • contemporary public authority funding techniques
  • collaborative working with other social services providers
  • expansion into larger work premises
  • conversant in using IT imaginatively

     

    However any relevant board-level skills you may have will be gratefully considered.  Training may be available to enhance your existing abilities.

    The Board meets about ten times annually with additional committee work as required.

You can apply to serve as a Local Resident Director/Trustee provided you are aged 18 or over and live in Renfrewshire.
