PROGRESS Towards Equality Conference

PROGRESS Towards Equality is a wide ranging project  involving AdviceUK, AdviceNow, British Institute of Human Rights, Citizens Advice Scotland (CAS), Citizens Advice (England & Wales), Ethnic Minorities Law Centre and the Law Centres Federation.

Taking place within the CAS Conference, PROGRESS Towards Equality aims to bring a wide range of information to advice givers in Scotland and across the UK to:

  • Increase awareness of discrimination and human rights, what people’s rights are and who can help to take action
  • Increase networking among a range of equality and advice groups to counter discrimination
  • Increase awareness of European Union campaigns to promote diversity and combat discrimination

The event will be a variety of discussion, debate, learning and development and will provide opportunities to meet people working in a range of information and advice settings locally and beyond. Download the PROGRESS Towards Equality conference flyer to find out more.

A conference summary and full report will be produced and used to further develop the equality agenda with the Equality and Human Rights Commission and the European Commission.
