Kinds of publication

Not sure what kind of publication you're looking for?  Here is a short explanation of the different kinds of publication that CAS does.

Evidence report
An in-depth report on a policy area, based on the relevant client case evidence.

Consultation response
A response to a consultation, usually from Government, on a specific policy issue, using client case evidence in support of our response.

Politicians' briefing
A brief summary of relevant concerns on a particular issue, often for a parliamentary debate.

CAS briefing paper
2-page briefings on specific policy issues or relevant information about the CAB Service.

Other social policy publication
Any other publication concerning social policy work.

Public information publication
Leaflets, booklets and other publications aimed at members of the public.
