Working with the Scottish Citizens Advice Bureau Service: A guide for parliamentarians

The first edition of the CAS Guide for Parliamentarians was launched in June 2011 at a reception in the Scottish Parliament. This invaluable guide, sponsored by Prudential, provides information on how MSPs and Scottish MPs can help their constituents on a range of issues including debt, advice, housing and employment.

Contained in each MSP's Guide was a unique constituency profile showing what the most common client issues are in each area. Citizens advice bureaux, as frontline service providers, are often the first to witness new trends in each constituency which means problems can be tackled quickly.
