There are thousands of volunteers working in citizens advice bureaux all over Scotland, performing all sorts of tasks. If all CAB volunteers were paid the average hourly wage for the time they give to their local bureau each year, we estimate that the cost would be more than £6 million. That’s quite a bill!
If you are thinking about volunteering in your local CAB, you may like to download this file which gives a short introduction to the Service and tells you the kinds of roles and responsibilities you would encounter. (The file is an .exe file which is safe to download and run on your PC. The file is 3.64MB and, depending on your internet connection speed, make take up to a minute to download.)
